David Bowie performed his last Ziggy Stardust concert in the legendary Hammersmith Apollo, also a venue of Queen’s and The Beatles’. Formerly known as the Hammersmith Odeon, still affectionately known as the Hammy-O, the site has been a significant recording venue for artists such as Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Guns ‘N Roses and more recently The Raconteurs, racking up an impressive musical and cultural history over the years.

Formerly the Millennium Dome, the O2 is now one of London’s most striking modern venues and has so far been used for a wide variety of exhibitions and concerts on a mammoth scale, including the Led Zeppelin reunion concert in 2007.
