When my husband and I were planning our new house, we both agreed that we want our kitchen to be beautiful. We both love to cook and the kitchen is our second most favourite part of the house next to the bedroom. We have always liked Traditional Kitchens because there is a homey feel to it. She showed us a sample of how a German kitchen looks like and both of us were awed with what we saw. Its style was sleek and modernized. She explained that although it was influenced by the designs back in 1030’s during the German Bauhaus movement, it focuses on the use of metal materials for a contemporary finish. She assured us that this will look great in a flat, townhouse and modern house like our own. Either we opt to have a compact or spacious kitchen, this will do just fine. Convinced, my husband and I agreed to have this. We chose high-gloss doors in white and black for the cabinets. The gloss effect gave our kitchen a sense of space because it reflects the light making our already big kitchen seemed bigger. The counters were made of granite, as well as the floor. To add more modern look to it, we opted for stainless steel for our sink. The overall look was very solid and modern, and we both love it.
